Origins
The history of Bell & Ross began in 1994 when the company was founded by two friends, Carlos-A. Rosillo and Bruno Belamich. Their partnership was a natural fit: from watchmaking and aviation to entrepreneurship and industrial design, their passions fully aligned. In the union of their respective skills, Bell & Ross was born. A founding alliance, where strength lies in unity.
From the cockpit to the wrist
The two founders of Bell & Ross joined forces on a project: to create watches perfectly suited for professional use. Their desire is to work within the great tradition of Swiss watchmaking whilst meeting the needs of men facing extreme situations. The brand’s signature “circle in a square” design is directly inspired by aircraft instrument panels. Cases made from black ceramic or stainless steel, optimum legibility, absolute precision: Every detail meets military aviation standards. Bell & Ross embodies the motto “From the cockpit to the wrist” and is aimed at extreme sports professionals as well as men looking for functional and distinctive watches.
An iconic signature
In 2005, the brand revolutionised watch design with the creation of the BR-01, directly inspired by aeronautical instruments. The cult “circle in a square” was born, thus becoming the key visual signature of the brand. This distinctive design has been at the heart of every collection ever since: from the professional BR-03 and the urban BR-05, to the manufacture’s avant-garde lines, the BR-X3 and BR-X5.
